It was great to receive a gift from home and to be able to share a little of Montana with my coworkers. We appreciate your support as we are away from family and from home for such a long period! Thank you! —- Capt Fabricius

To Everyone at Adopt A Sox, Thank you so much for the fantastic box you folks sent.  It was very generous.  I greatly appreciated it.  Thank you for thinking of me.  I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you all a very Happy New Year! All the Best, —- Christian

To all who contributed to my wonderful care package,
Thank you! It is an incredible feeling to be supported by people who have never met me.
The items in my package were a welcome and fun surprise! As you have accurately determined, it’s nice to be reminded of home through the little comforts.
Additionally, I really appreciate that is wasn’t just food. The food is welcome and wonderful, but it’s
exciting to receive other items. Thank you again for your support! Love, —- E.T.H.

Thank you Adopt A Sox and to all your benefactors and volunteers for such a generous gift! I serve with the 1-189th Aviation Battalion and we just arrived in Kuwait and after less than 3 days in country, our Soldiers received Christmas gifts from your organization. It is humbling to know that folks back home care so much and devote so much time and effort to take care of our troops. I want you to know that I watched many smiling young Soldiers come out of the mailroom today. Many of whom may not receive mail from back home during this holiday season. Your gifts are very special and you should know that they are appreciated.

Folks like you are what makes Montana great. We are all proud to serve you, MT, and our country Merry Christmas and Thank You from all of us in the 189th. N.G. December 2019

I am a member of the 120th AW out of Great Falls, MT and am currently deployed to the Middle East.  I just wanted to sincerely thank all of the volunteers and businesses associated with your group for the wonderful care packages.  Every item in the care packages is sincerely appreciated.  It is so amazing to see the time, thoughtfulness, and care put into each box.

I just want to say thank you for all that you do and thanks to all the people that took the time to write and make the goodies that you sent! It’s an awesome organization and very appreciated. It is nice to be able to share all the stuff you sent with the other people in my squadron and show them how beautiful and caring Montana is. Again, thank you for all you do and know that it is appreciated! —MSgt Jeremy

All of the Montanan’s who received a care box were walking around with a smile on their face and a strut in their step.  The amount of pride in our great state and country is palpable when we receive items that show how much people appreciate what we are doing.  Deployed members from other states were in awe of all that your organization did.  We are so damn proud to call Montana our home, because of people like you and your organization who appreciate what we are doing! Thanks again and GO CATS!!!!! —- Pat

I am currently deployed in RC East, Afghanistan in an aviation unit.  This evening after my 200th something long as heck day, I was presented with a package bearing my name; from an individual I did not recognize, and a box bearing no familiar markings.  Upon returning to my tent I opened the box and began to poke through the contents.  If the wonderful letter on top wasn’t enough, I began to notice that this was from “HOME” and brought an epic smile to my face!  Familiar feelings, memories that I hold dear, and warmth spilled out of every item that was obviously hand packaged. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you, and am humbled with such a gift of caring and love! Thank you.—A most appreciative soldier! P.S. Oliver, age 6, thank you for the wonderful picture.

Holy cow!  Thank you so much for all the care packages.  They arrived this morning and Soldiers are having a blast digging through their boxes.  I don’t know how you got my name, but thank you.  This is really incredible.  The generosity from Bozeman is overwhelming.—Jeffrey

I’m writing you to let you know that we received your care packages today!  I am the mail clerk for the 495th CSSB, when I arrived at the mail warehouse this morning to get mail you cannot imagine my surprise to find two huge pallets of care packages.  Thank you so much.  It was so nice to be able to give a care package to every Soldier in my Company, these care packs are the first that we have received and the quality of the stuff is amazing!  I cannot put into words the happiness and joy you have brought to the Fighting 495th today!  Thank you again for all that you have done.  It is much appreciated—Justin

I am writing this letter from Afghanistan to thank you guys and your corporation from the bottom of my heart for the care package I have just received.  It is good to know that people from my hometown support and stand behind me while I am deployed.  I never knew the Chronicle had this book full of police reports, I sit here and read them all wondering how many I must have had a part in.  Once again, thank you for all you do. You have no idea how much it means to me and to everyone else over here.  If another soldier gets a package like this, it raises the morale for the whole unit.  It reminds the soldiers that there is more than just friends and family from back home that support you.  Bozeman, MT is one of the greatest places on earth and this all because of people like you who take time out of your day to show support to people that you have never met. —Thomas

I wanted to thank you for all the work you put into the donation boxes from Adopt A Sox.  I was blown away by the amount of work, time, and money donated just for shipping.  The Montana and Bozeman magazines were my favorite part as I am personally from Bozeman and loved looking through them and will post the pictures up that remind me how beautiful Montana is.  Thank you for your kindness and generosity.  We all appreciate it so much!! —-Michelle

Thank you very much to all who had a part in sending the “stockings” our way during the Christmas Season.  That took not only a lot of work and coordination but funds as well.  We are grateful for your efforts. Whether it was the children’s drawings, useful toiletries and hygiene items or the entertainment stuff (cards, Frisbees, movies), all was or will be put to good use. I am an outdoorsman at heart so the local Montana and hunting magazines were a great touch.  Hiking and fishing in the mountain streams is one of the things I look forward to doing. Thanks again for what you do and all you’ve done! —-Mark

Thank you so much for all the care packages!  What a great surprise.  Soldiers were so excited digging through their boxes, like kids at Christmas-seriously!  I can’t say thanks enough.  How awesome!  God bless, take care —Lamor

Thanks Heather. Would you tell Margie I said thank you personally for what she does.  I remember getting boxes from them when I was overseas and I remember loving them, and that it was pretty cool that someone other than our families were thinking about us. —- Benjamin, an AAS recipient deployed several years ago and now working at NorthWesternEnergy.

To the Friendly Folks at Adopt A Sox, Thank you so much for the outrageously generous care package.  Overwhelming would be the best way to describe it.  So many great things!  I especially enjoyed the notes and pictures and drawings from the kiddos. I've got the pillowcase on my pillow and the socks are always great.  The map of Montana is an especially nice touch as I can reminisce on my favorite haunts and holes from back home.  It's truly been a surprise and an encouragement digging through this box.  Thank you for the Christmas season blessing!  Merry Christmas!  —- AG

Our son's best friend, Caleb Andrews, received the Adopt-a-sox boxes and he is thrilled!! He was so excited to get the extra boxes because he told me he can share with the whole Battalion!  They are deployed in Africa. Caleb was excited to get the Montana items and snacks but, he was so happy to get Montana air!  He told me that the box reminded him of everything before the Army! —- Carolyne
